  5. SnapUrl says Levon played a free show up here last month. Since he had a Midnight Ramble the night before and was doing another show after the free one, he saved his voice, but was his old self otherwise. We love him here and think of him as a great neighbor. This show was next to a farm stand in the middle of a pumpkin patch.

  6. poebegone says oh wow good stuff. Levon Helm kicked ass with The Band (and without, as you say) and had the (excess of) sideburns to show for it. i take it the comeback means he (specifically, his throat) is out of critical danger? i hope so. thanks for this. (:
