Bootsy Collins. To many Bootsy Will always be the comic foil & cosmic clown In Parliament/Funkedelic's most glorious heyday. "America Eats Its Young", arguably one of the very highest peaks in all of funk, was driven by Bootsy's incredible pulsing slippery wet bass.
But enough about that....some observations, if I may.......WTF! I can't post from my Mogpage? Is that right? or am I missing something? There's greatly increased content, in terms of videos & MOGTV & other things....one could easily get lost & be very entertained.....and yet, for me, the appeal has always been the voices of the MOGgers who gather here.
Which brings me to another point....One sure has to work to get to "most recent" MOGgers only. a pain, if you ask.
Now...I know.....I'm a dinosaur......I'm sure the majority is gonna like this new expanded virtual playground. And I will too, I'm sure. But I always go to most recent and work from there.
BTW: most recently popular? say what?
Oh! I almost forgot to mention how excited I am.

Finally we get to see a pic of the real you..
For me the feed page is a god send..I love the stats.
My old posts are all messed up, but the MOGfather sez they will look into the "legacy" posts.
The look, I like..and my page works for the first time in months (well, a few broken links).
You can stil get the MOS if you want it, but there's plaenty of action in feeds and it eliminates the need to get email notified,plus you keep getting notified in feeds when people comment after you..not just the next comment after you.
Many good improvements, I think.
Am I noticing the default view for the MOS is the "most recent popular" or whatever it is? Oh, I am digging the hell out of the feed feature.

Liked the Bootsy. Not a fan of the new Mog, yet. Like you, I think the appeal of Mog has always been good people sharing music. I feel like the new stuff comes between us. But give me time.
Does the old style player work now? I couldn't get it to work today. What's the new "feed" thing? What's MOS? I've always gone from the emails and then poked around for more. I did see a new email notice option for all the comments after mine.
Something about arts journalism on NPR today: If people have to look for stuff, they will look for stuff they already like. But if someone recomends new stuff, they discover new stuff to like. I like that sharing and expanding musical experience.

I Mogged you up, DMD. Glad the moggers are out there pushing buttons and posting. I'm still digging around the in the new thingamabobs, getting to know what's what. So, what's this news feed? Sounds like I gots to check that out.
The feed is in the tab under your name after you sign in..it'll show you (at levels you can adjust) activities of your trusteds.
The MOS=Mogosphere. What we call the listing of all posts as they occur..After you log in there's a tab at the top called blog posts..click all and you have the MOS..you can then sort the posts with the buttons on that page, filtering out MMN if you want to.
