BETWEEN FOOTBALL GAMES NOW. WAITING FOR THE PATRIOTS TO PLUCK THE EAGLES.

I don't know why anyone would post this. Not that its a bad performance, its not. It provides insight into the song (for me) that's impossible to get from the original high-gloss floss recording.Milo Bender is an artist on the fringes who really deserves a wider audience. His unique talent is not to everyone's taste, but he's worth a listen. So _SUNDAY UNDER COVERS CONTINUES_!

  1. thoughtyouweredead says What can I say? The beauty of MOG! Never thought I'd end up spending a Sunday evening enjoying an Abba tune but hey - I have to admit I really enjoyed this! Ok, I wont be rushing out to get ABBA Gold, but I'll be checking out more Milo Bender when I get a minute. p.s. Patriots? Eagles? strange name for cricket teams.......

  3. dharmachris says Is his name really Milo Bender? Or is that an homage to Vonnegut's Catch-22? 24 point underdogs, Feely at QB for the Birds, oh, its gonna be ugly.... and yet I still don't miss TO. Are there sports with more complex rules than cricket?

  6. Marigold says This is pretty crazy. I cant believe the Patriots went for it on 4th down. IT seems to have worked as they were able to stop the Eagles. But man, it just has to inspire the Eagles to really believe they can pull it off. We shall see....

  9. AA Coppertop says Joseph Heller wrote Catch-22, which has a character named Milo Minderbinder. In the film version, Milo was played by Jon Voight. The film was directed by Mike Nichols, and to recreate flying scenes, the production assembled what was in effect the 10th largest airforce in the world, albeit briefly.
