LIVE MUSIC IS BETTER>>>IN THE COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING

Posted 10 months ago

King Crimson was a whole new thing in 1969. In a year that saw wild explosive growth in every direction...King Crimson existed on a plane of their own. Light years ahead of pop radio fare, they soon became a staple on FM radio stations...which in many instances were very progressive, although no one would have said that at the time.

When I click the link on the MOG Brain email, I see no button.  When I go to your home page, with its comfortable ambiance, I see a button. It's time for you to go down the page to Help>Support, and to charm circles around MOG's techies.

"In the Court of the Crimson King" was way adventurous, even for 1969.

First time I went to your page I did not get the button.  This time I did.

Nice.  King Crimson was a real ground-breaker at the time and I still enjoy thrm.  In the Wake of Posidon spent a lot of time on my platter.

Spike1...The first four albums were great.  And then over the years moments of brilliance & long stretches of highbrow self-indulgent crap.

Yeah.  That's about when I lost inerest too.  I recall In the Court, Wake, Lizard.  Then listened to a little of Larks' Tongues In Aspic and  didn't bother to listen any more.  So I won't venture an opinion.  Seems like going in that direction, though, as I recall.

Parts of Islands & Starless & Bible Black are jaw dropping.  But parts, (long parts on Islands, especially) are the previously aforementioned piles of doo-doo.
