WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

We Step From Dimple To Dimple On This Surface World.........

....Never daring to look down...never caring to know...we pray the dimples won't rip. The Cult Of Celebrity is coin of the realm

Some seek fame & furtune & find liars & frauds & friends that drool. Smiling faces sometimes pretend to be your friend. Some pray for their fifteen minutes without fear of being hung on the cross-

-hairs of media sniperscopes. Working class heroes are created & burned like yesterday's news...Journalists & camera crews twist the focus & tighten the screws & entertainment tonight has exclusive video. Brittany's crotch trumps genocide in a land where more people can name seven Simpson's characters but can't name five supreme cout justices. In a land where pap is spoonfed in megapixels to mushy minds afloat in mushy days with indistinct edges.

I guess I have yet to reestablish my equilibrium.

mmmmmmmmm, librium.

I turned on CNN today to catch some "news", I had to watch 88 mins of pure pablum before they mentioned the Gaza Strip. At the same time I was also flipping over to The BBC News Channel and during those same 88mins almost all of it was devoted to the Gaza Strip.

Technological advancements notwithstanding (now merely an illusion of civilized society), this is arguably the most barbaric age in recorded history.  Unforunately in this age it is not limited in scope to one corner of the world.  Nihilists and new Machiavellians, sugar coated poison from persons to products (redundant?), pervasive ignorance, apathy ... and where and how does it end?  Hmmm ... give me a cave and a man.
