Rhode Island's own Deer Tick plays the kind of bluejean kick-ass rocknroll that The Stones or The Faces did in their heyday. A deceptively loose lanky rocknroll, as much at home in a city dive as in a biker's bar outside town. This is beer n whiskey rocknroll with a twist of Geothe. John McCauley's leather soled voice & pointed barbed-wire lyrics paint little portraits of everyday souls running to stay ahead of the steamroller life of 21st century America. Dennis & Chris Ryan, (Drums & Bass) form a telepathic rhythm section that can rock like Thor's hammer or bounce like a slinky. As a live act they're a delight. They're self assured without bravado, quietly brilliant & self effacing, they let the music do the talking.

NICE!!!!
Yes, I agree. Great voice.
very unique sound and I like it! :)
Its amazing to me how many people have forgotten about the Faces. They were really kick ass. Nice tune.
Great voice, and great presentation!
I do love this guys' vocals...but actual Deer Tick are Mine Enemy...I just won't forgive this band if they really get famous.
MUCH more enjoyable than the Paul Simon cover. Now I can see why you like them.
