Melanie covered a few Dylan tunes, and was in fact quite an interpreter of others' material. Her proto-emo approach had a wide appeal as the sixties morphed into the seventies. Beautifull people flocked to her shows where they'd sit entranced watching this waif with waterfall tresses crowned with flowers sing her delicate songs.She continues to pop up from time to time in various settings but.....So here for your approval...

  4. Spike says I now understand what ivylander means about her voice pushing people off a roof. Slowing down and speeding up the beat does that to me too as well. That said, I'm still unhurt, so she must have done something right besides covering a good song.
