Leon Redbone having a laugh or three after the show

Geeze, it looked fine last night! But it was a very cool night.Leon likes this intimate little room and last night he had an audience that was responsive, respectful and appreciative. As a result we were treated to an extra long set, complete with his stories, puns, witty asides, and assorted twisted bon mots. And he sang Polly Wolly Doodle! I've seen him five times now and that's the first time he sang it. Man he kills that thing. Accompanied by a horn player(and I'm not sure what kind of horn it was, it seemed to have as many loops as a french horn but much smaller) and a piano player he covered the gamut from Blind Boy Fuller to Ira Girshwin.

Yeah, I know my picture taking skills (W/digital) are a work in progress. But I had fun.

To the left, Duke Robillard. To the right one of my partners in crime.Bobby Farrelly was there also.If you ever get the chance to see Leon Redbone don't let the chance slip by.
