The Greatest Week Ever

Posted about 4 years ago

The greatest week ever, for me at least, is about to begin. (Well, except for that week of skydiving, too). Ok, the greatest musical week ever...

Bruce Springsteen
Megadeth w/ Meet & Greet
Ministry
Rush
Symphony-X/Epica

AND, more concerts coming up that I plan to see this summer once tickets go on sale for Houston.

STP - FUCKING AAAA!!!! I hope to get front row and maybe get a little interaction with Dean and Robert Deleo.

Check me out with Robert and Dean Deleo

YES - yep, my favorite band of all times, 19th time to see them.

Funny and somewhat disturbing dream I've had recently about YES. I dreamt I was supposed to meet my mom for a Yes concert (yeah, she doesn't even know who they are) and I was late and missed the show (the disturbing part).

These guys keep going, I was afraid there wouldn't be another tour because they've been quiet. Now, if only they would play Machine Messiah or Sound Chaser.

AWESOME, I just discovered this...

Yes - Sound Chaser

If you are going to any of the shows gimme a shout!

  1. deadmandeadman says Mike! So good to see your avatar! Lord a-mighty, YES! I've only seen them once, back in the Jurassic era. I remember awesome music, glowing colors, and stumblin' around Boston at 3 A.M. tryin' to find another couple. (they were in custody for strippin' outside the Boston Garden and singin' & dancin' in public).

  3. dead mike says When I was a tween - teen my dad took me to some concerts like Emerson, Lake & Palmer and Yes. Seeing ELP at 11 was simply one of life's best experiences. I actually got to see them two nites in a row on all hallows eve 1974, but my dad let me go alone the second nite. Ever seen a baby grand piano come up outta the stage? And exploding computers, before we even knew what they really were. My mom, she likes Barry Manilow. Not that there's anything wrong with that. :^P
