Reading Festival third and final day

Posted over 4 years ago
Well havn't got the hang of waking up on time this weekend as we missed Gym Class Heroes today. The weather was still rather warm, so we sat down for hellogoodbye (only highlight was THAT SONG THAT EVERYONE ONLY KNOWS) and Billy Talent (only memory of the time between their set was a badge saying Love not Riots). I threw it on the floor with disgust...then put it on.Next came The Used they sounded ok but wasn't really getting me interested. However they did a wall of death whiched I searched up on youtube and the gap was massive! Song didn't really go well with it tho.Got in the crowd for Funeral For A Friend who were decent followed by Fall Out Boy. They didn't really get the crowd going really - not the people futher back. Probably of the phobia of actually liking Fall Out Boy that seem to affect a large amount of people.Next came the best set of my weekend - lostphophets - now the crowd was really up for this one especially after the bottle fight in the change over - had quite a few fly our way.At the end managed to get myself in a circle pit - great fun. Even beats watching people moshing to the Pigeon Detectives which was quite funny. We got food (or my friends got food - i was poor by now) before watching Nine Inch Nails and releasing what a great set we were missing. There were some awesome special effects behind that cage screen projector thingy which only showed the outline of the band behind some video distortion.Last was The Smashing Punpkins who was also pretty good. I enjoy it a lot more that the mess that was the Red Hot Chilli Peppers set.phew that was the end of quite awesome weekend. Altho that night was actually quite frightening with fires lighting up skies from people throwing aerosol onto their fire and the fact that i got lost for half a hour finding my tent after a toilet break. Tho the water slide looked quite fun.Woke up on monday to find that the people playing the steel bin drums was STILL going on. wow
