So many Sarahs...

Sarah sure is a popular name among female singers in Canada. Sarah McLachlan, Sarah Harmer and Sarah Slean are all among my favorites.Sarah Slean is a classically trained pianist from Toronto. She writes smart alternative pop/rock music. I first heard her while flipping through the channels on my TV and stumbled upon the video for "Sweet Ones" on MuchMusic. I was immediately fascinated. I had to hear more from her. I don't have all her albums, but I do have her last two, "Night Bugs" and "Day One, both of which are quite good. Night Bugs seems to include some of her songs from her first two albums. I would recommend Sarah Slean to fans of Sarah McLachlan, Dido and Tori Amos. She is similar in that it's smart piano driven pop/rock music.If you want to hear specific songs to see what she is like, I would recommend "Sweet Ones" from Night Bugs or "Lucky Me" from "Day One".
