Another BCF song - "Will Never Come True"

Posted almost 4 years ago
We have a show tonight in San Francisco, and we were rehearsing last night for the show & playing this song, and I thought to myself, "You know, I like this song. It's tweaky in the verse part but it's straightforward in the nearly-a-chorus part, & then there's the whole nice solo in the middle."

And it's a fairly positive song - it's about following your dreams. I can't say I always agree with its sentiment, but songs & poems & art I think are supposed to capture a moment in time for whomever wrote them or created them or whatever, and, well - whatever. We all have our darkness, but this song is more about lightness. But I guess there is some darkness & cynicism about life & everyone in there as well. It's still a bit "we're all in this alone," but I think it adds some, "but it's still pretty great."

Whatever; I just was feeling good about the song and wanted to share it. I request you kindly forgive my indulgence in the above paragraph; I try to never analyze my own music. I feel it can only lead to bad things! Bad things! But I like this song... it reminds me of where I was a few years ago when I wrote it...
