Posted over 2 years ago
can you tell i'm going through a bit of a phase? maybe global warming and state-of-the-nation's got me hammering for a hunk of soulthis song conjures up some really strong feelings for me. growing up in new york. summertime as a kid. not sure why, as i was probably 5 or 6 years old when this came out. perhaps there was mental osmosis whilst older brother & sister watched soultrain.

  4. Spike says Rawkiddo, that soundtrack brings back great radio memories. David, that video is great. I wonder if some acts go on shows like that and sing live to a version of the hit record that doesn't have the vocals on it. That way they can vary their singing a little bit to convince the audience that it's hearing their live voices, but the group doesn't have the big hassle of presenting live accompaniment.

  5. Rawkkiddoh says Spike, those soundtracks usually get played once a week during the summer. Its just the right music to set a mood.
