  5. angeldawn says Maybe the bubbles were some sneaky way to get the boys to take a bath. Seriously, when was Keith ever that young?

  11. Spike says The bubbles were a brilliant idea. Why exactly did Mick Taylor quit the group?

  12. david hyman says i think mick taylor was pushed out (and never an official member). possibly too many drugs.

  13. Spike says Ah so. "Too many drugs" is saying a lot. Mick Jagger complained in an interview that Brian Jones never helped with song writing. Perhaps Mick Taylor didn't contribute enough musical ideas either.

  14. Jonh Ingham says Many years ago - the mid 90s - in London I had a taxi ride where the driver waxed long and large on all the stars that had been in his car, including Mrs. Mick Taylor. I'm paraphrasing here, but even 20 years later she had an intense desire to carve up Mr. Jagger and Mr. Richards with a dull butter knife for what they did to her husband. In no particular order it involved getting him hooked on H, destroying his confidence and artistic belief, and making his life hell. David, that 'not an official member' bit applied to Ron Wood too. He was on a salary until a couple of yeasr ago.

  15. Spike says Yikes. Her story sounds plausible, partial though she may be to her husband. It takes a certain cold-bloodedness on the part of Jagger-Richards to destroy their guitarist like that. How could that have been in their interest? Wouldn't they want their colleague to be a strong and happy member of a cohesive group?
