mp3 uploader update
guys, we've been challenged with getting this feature back up and know it's longer than we thought. i'm really hoping for next week. if we can't get it up that soon, at least i've got an amazing present for all you long term moggers that i'm confident will more than make up for it (and it's a gift that keeps on giving). we've identified the top 100 moggers and if you're not one of them, and you read this post, and email me nicely about not being one of the top 100 moggers, i'll add you to the list. : )
in the meantime, i'm seeing lots of folks get their music up. perhaps y'all can use the comments on this post to share the tools you use to get up your creations. i'm told some are easier and better than ours.

i think i've uploaded 1 song ever to MOG, so i'm def no expert, but lately i've noticed moggers using littlemp3.com with much success and it fits into MOG posts so nicely.
this is a great excuse for me to try it out and finally post some audio, so i'll let y'all know how it goes. MusicRx has mentioned a few different services over the last few weeks, hopefully they'll chime in here with some tips.

Everyone, this service seems to be the easiest, as mollifire mentioned. I was tipped to this service by a friend and it has now been passed on to all of you.
If you can learn to bookmark a page and push a button and then copy some code, you can use this.

Uploading is almost the same as MOG uploading- you just have to copy the code to your post instead of it going in automatically. NO TAGGING required either.
deadmandeadman will tell you "...if i can do it....a friggin goldfish can do it." And he is doing it very successfully.

good call on soundcloud. haven't used it here, but love it and always keep a bunch of stuff on it. it's also not just mp3's, it's got better sounding audio files. getting a MOG "share" feature on their site would rule. it's another user-friendly feature.
i'm psyched to get the button back though, and love to be on this "list". seems like my page is permanently on "under the radar".

I like presents, but one problem I always had with mog is the "status" thing, anyway.....--blazing, below the radar, etc....those are like unnecessary labels designed for......what? To make someone feel good about themselves because they have more time or access to devote themselves to a website that is supposed to be all about enjoying and sharing music, or contrastly, to attempt a jab at one's self esteeM? As in: BELOW the radar, mwahahahah! Low life, hah!
Anyway, looking forward to the positive changes heading our way, hopefully :)
