Through our comments and posts, we try to alert you guys to issues like that and MOG signing you out and eating posts, when you thought you were going to be remembered on this computer for longer than a 1/2 an hour (because you checked that box on login).
Please check your cookie code too- that check mark does not seem to be doing much. Make it expire in 2010 or something. It is more than infuriating to go to publish a post and find out you have been signed out without any notice or pop-up warning or something and lose the post.
We pushed a fix for a rare bug in ie7/8 where some users were being logged out after publishing a post. This fix was pushed on Monday.

david, thank you for getting it fixed. Like life itself, MOG is never risk-free. We passengers on the luxury MOG cruise ship often forget how hard those guys down in engine room slave away coping with the inevitable problems and trying to keep things running smoothly.
tj, this happens using Google Chrome too, which I don't think runs off the IE engine. If it keeps happening, I'll let you know. Thanks for addressing that major problem.
