just another example of how bad parents can ruin a kids life. I see it every day being in the classroom, tears your heart out each time

I dunno.  I just don't think I could have accepted those songs from the guy on the right.  I guess it's cuz I don't know Mike any other way.  I don't think Mikes voice fits to the guy on the right.  It would have been strange.  The guy on the right should sound like Teddy Pendergrass.

Disagreeing with Troy. Just as any imagined alternate realities, one often doesn't think it through of all the (yearsssss of) sequences that would have lead to our familiarity. If reality B happened, you wouldn't be 'used to' to reality A. It's neither here nor there. Thriller would still be an awesome album regardless.

Michael was Michael and the one on the left is what Michael was and is his own creation unique  and a amazing performer and the guy on tthe right was  progressed through someone else's eyes using  supposed aging techniques based on a corporate standard of how you are suppose to age!

I read a quote from a close friend of MJ's that "he didn't want to be Black." He got his wish, and fired anyone who said: "Don't do that!" even if it was friendly advice. A friend of mine thought that MJ before all the plastic surgery was a really nice looking man; the age progression image reflects that. You are your own worst enemy, at times?

Wow. I never knew there was a "Corporate standard on how you're supposed to age". Did I miss that meeting?

....I missed that meeting too, Mark.

Its very entertaining to read this post & the ensueing comments.  All I can say is....He left some incredible music behind.  & though it may strike some as cruel.....His Death was probably the only thing that could save his career. Besides everything else he accomplished in life....the sad fact is his death once again shines a bright light on an ugly side of America......& we bathe in it.

The photo on the right doesn't show any white spots from his skin disease.  Otherwise, it makes sense.

Since my local public high school tied for worst in California, in 1960 I was sent to a spartan rustic boarding school out in the boondocks, which later turned out to be right across the road from Neverland.  I never slept with Michael, but if I had, I would have given him stern advice about his dream face.

if he looked like this, he would have clearly had a better shot at being alive today.......

The photo on the right assumes a mental stability that MJ obviously didn't have. I can imagine that his skin disorder left him not knowing who he was supposed to be - black or white.

Interesting that in his music, he finally came to the conclusion that "it doesn't matter if you're black or white."  Seems he made peace with who he was at some point.  Sad that his back injury led him down the "painkiller path."  It's happened to too many celebrities.

I believe his fame was not catapulted by the face on the left. He would have still won many funs with the face on the right, he must have regreted when Obama was elected president!
