Welcome to the new MOG. We are here to take the crown and reign supreme, freeing all music lovers from their online shackles and liberating music lovers with soul worldwide. This new MOG home page is your new home page for music online. And guess what Moggers, what you didn't realize until today is you guys are the rockstars. We're making ya'll famous. Just like in the Wizard of Oz when the scarecrow is told he's got a brain, you Moggers and Bloggers have cre ated the ultimate music destination. There was gold trapped in these pages and you are the stars. We're letting it out.
The list of new features and site improvements are endless. The design and user interface have been completely revamped allowing MOG to reclaim the online music crown as its rightful owners.

Wow, the new site looks, feels and functions great - one thing I did, however, notice since the relaunch is that when sharing any MOG post on MOG's Facebook Group (or elsewhere on Facebook) now, the MOGger's name no longer pops up in either the header or introtext of the posted item, and I'd really like to give credit where credit's due (whereas it now looks as if I made the posts I'm linking).
I'll have to take a good look around and a deep dive in the features, but it sounds and looks promising. I still wish you'd added spell check to the comments box-that can't be too hard, can it? Oh, and please add a way to edit your own comments. That has been one of the most frustrating things ever to make a mistake and not be able to correct it.
Please also answer spike's questions when you have a chance.

I just roll with the changes now. At least I don't get that gateway error message anymore when I try to log in.
One complaint though, my Mozilla Firefox spell check doesn't work on here anymore. My spelling sucks! You guys need a spell check on here. It's like having a kick ass car, or truck without a cup holder.

Had a question about the MOG players. I don't see an imbed function now. Is it missing, killed or I'm too lazy to find it? And... the previous MOG players that I have spread around to other places on the web are not operating at all. Are those going to be operational or is that function dead now?

David, comments that used to have red dot players or old MOG players in them now don't, and posts that used to have more than one player in their texts no longer do. People who now go to those posts that, for instance, describe the similarities or differences between two or more recordings that had been playable will now be frustrated.
I speculate that MOG had made it difficult but not impossible for Moggers to insert those players because it might someday pose a legal problem relating to intellectual property, and that the new MOG did away with them for the same reason. If not, is there away to restore them?
Spike, this was not intentional. We're working on bringing it back. This relaunch was a ground-up re-write of the application code and interface -- we did a ton of testing on archival posts, and the MOG player(s) were something that just were not covered as much as we should have. We've restore some of the play buttons, and we're working to bring back the larger player, and will need to work on a look and feel for the (formerly) red play buttons.
I don't have an eta -- but it's on our top-issue list, just a few items down after some performance issues and under-the-hood features.

tj, thank you for fixing that so quickly.
Now I the nit-picker notice another less-than-burning issue. When I go to my site, then "View My Profile," then "View Spike's Posts," I see my posts listed somewhat in chronological order, but with many of them out of order. Moggers' posts used to be listed with their exact dates, but now instead of the dates it often says "One month ago," or "One year Ago," which might be an improvement for others but not for me.
Agrees with Spike's point about posts.
Also the formatting seems verstunkeneh again - just as the previous MOG update broke the original formatting, this one seems to have broken the formatting again; HTML codes that worked perfectly in the olf fomatting, like <blockquote> and <h2>, <h3>, etc, still look like they work in the "Edit" view, but seem to disappear (headers) or malfunction (<blockquote>).
Is this intentional, or will it be fixed?
(I'll be putting this in at "Support", too...)
