Marty Robbins still culturally relevant

so in modern civilization we follow the doctrine prescribed to us by medical science. Idealisim is the latest casualty of the science of cold figures. no longer does faith or principal mean anything we are now A product of odds of mathmatical calculation. emotion and feeling are meaningless and family is a long forgotten institution. Any one else see a problem with this? this is music that was popular less than fifty years ago. that for you that are not good at math is less than a lifetime. Yes America used to be founded on Christian pricnipals not churchianity as we know it today but real morals and faith. the kind of strength that is legendary today. so I pose the Option that it's not dead. It's not an outdadted notion neighbours helping neighbours and people actually having contact and relationships with their neighbours. this kind of thing can be very powerful even this time of modern technology. what use are contacts hundreds of miles away when your problems are local. So i suggest shovelling a neighbours driveway and making the hood you live in a scocial network. Who knows a small step like this could lead to much better things.

I amen to that -> It's about us showing God's love by acting it out...like Jesus did ->

A helping hand, a smile, a favor for an incapacitated neighbor or one close -> that kind of stuff goes a long way ->

Did Elvis take singing lessons from this dude? Sounds very close ->

I don't know I guess i do see your point. He also reminds me a little of jonny cash so it may just be the way people sang back in those days.

we got two feet of snow here in the last 24 hours and it's still snowing. it totally shut down the city of spokane and I can't get my little car out of my driveway so I'm snowed in. the only thing I can do for fun is to fire up the snow blower and see how tall I can make the drifts in my lawn. speaking of which it's been about two hours so I better get back out there again. If I don't keep up with it it gets deeper than my snowblower and becoms a pain in the ass to move. happy snowmageddon

you suck dude -> we get 16" or more only once every 4-5 years, so I have no need for a snowblower, but when that snow does come, and I'm out there with a shovel...but I'd rather shovel snow than rake leaves ->

Spokane under water, well condensed water anyway ->

yep the other day I took a walk in the woods and walked on water the river was froze solid about six inches thick so I took a walk upstream.

I think I'd rather rake leaves than shovel snow leaves are lighter. I'm not looking forward to the inevitable shovelling of the roof. Now thats backbreaking work.
