WWIII

Posted over 3 years ago

So I was out at the music store looking for music that I can Never find (you know obscure stuff from europe) And of course they had nothing I was looking for I mean geeze three bands and a complete zero. Music stores these days suck. I wish I could go back to rainy day music in Olympia Wa. where they carry all the obscure shit they can get their hands on. anyway thats just my pet peeve. I actually came away with a pretty good take. I got a ferret records shirt and kmfdm and testament cd's so all in all a good trip. anyway kmfdm is a cool cool band I'm all about the marrige of techno and metal and these guys do it better than anyone. so here's the title track from their WWIII album

So that got me thinking What would we the united mogsphere of the world like to declare war on?

I'd start with corperate greed and political corruption. Also television news. sponsered misinformation and advertizements. I declare war on the drug paxil cause who needs a anti depressent that causes scuicide. actually I say fuck all that psyche med shit. people were tougher with out it. I declare war on scocialisim cause were a capitalist nation and thats how it's supposed to be. Any person with a good Idea should be able to market it and to hell with liscences and red tape. I declare war on the immoral majority who'd rather fuck you than talk to you. I declare war on all forms of fear and paranoia that keeps neighbours from talking to each other. shit this is gettin me riled up I better chill and let ya'll finish this one.

Music stores? I don't go near them unless I'm on vacation with time to kill. The obscure stuff is online. Gemm.com, eBay, etc. Hell, just Google what you want...

I have a problem with the concept of "corporate greed". The oil companies, the pharmaceutical companies, all the companies people love to hate are owned by...the people. Your 401(k) and mine. Public companies are overwhelmingly owned by stockholders, you and me. And we all want a good return on our investment. So who's the enemy? We are.

That "psyche med shit" helped my father deal AFTER he tried to commit suicide. I'm on it, as is almost every member of my family, and I'm thankful for it. "Toughness" doesn't count here.

Most of the rest of your post I agree with. Don't mean to be argumentative, just present a couple of alternative points of view.

Hmm I do enjoy a good debate and I'm not the thought poliece so you are all welcome to your opinions.

AS for the corperate greed thing: how much controll do stockholders really have over decisions made by the company? probably alot more than we excercize. See a corperation will let stockholders know what theyre doing usually with the spin of growth/ look how much more your stock will be worth. but loaning money to the extent that people can no loger afford to pay stuff off seems irresponsible. Guess it sounded like a good Idea at the time. maybe we are the problem. maybe were just too apathetic to really think about how todays decisions effect the coming years. it's easy to just shrug and figure some one somewhere will fix it. One person dosn't make much diffrence true, but if they can start others standing up then we could actually change this shit were in now. Of course people won't freak out about it till they are on the chopping block cause if it only effects others most of us are fine with it.

As for meds: My ex wife was on meds, and my friend who used to be a heroin junky plays crazy to get meds. in both cases they are worse off on the meds with worse moodswings and less able to deal with life. the heroin junky was more coherent on heroin than he is on xanax. So I guess it's a matter of perspective. And maybe it works on a person to person basis. Still I don't think every one who gets depressed needs to pop pills it's not a blanket cure. it's not even a cure it's a temporary fix a kind of sponsered addiction that seems to keep the people in check. So I ask you what happens when you go off your meds? if you get depressed what causes it. if you get angry what caused that? maybe there are some fundamental problems with the world or your life that need to be taken care of but as long as you don't dwell on them your fine. comfortably numb.

I've declared war on George Soros who owns most of Hollywood and the entire Democratic Party among other things, on terrorism, on Olmert, on the 45 communist goals, on all the "big brother" types who think they can experiment on free citizens without telling them, those who choke back information and spread misinformation like the entire media world (see George Soros), on the foreigners who keep coming to California and taking us over and making us super-liberal, and the ugly little ufo guys who all need to die.

My war list is pretty much the same as yours.

Hot diggity -> my next post will explain a little further why I believe drug tests should be a mandatory monthly examination to keep driving...MONTHLY drug tests...Teenagers should be drug tested, physco-analyzed, personality tested, stress tested, and shock therpaied before handing a liscence to them...

Check out my next post to see why...

I declare war in the fu&*&*& ignorant people who don't realize their actions, don't realize that there are people out there that will
KILL you in a heartbeat, not afraid to get locked up...I declare war on anyone who gets a $1 million bonus or more AFTER the company has declared bankruptcy...

Oh, and I declare war on Panic! at the disco, I accidentally heard one of their songs...uh, um, it will be a short but effective war, I'll send their heads to the record companies as a warning...if they let any other garbage into the airwaves, I'm bringing a box of road flares to each of their homes in the wee hours of the morning...use your imagination ->
