it's been a week, a long seemingly endless week filled with sleepless nights and travel. lonely hotel rooms in montana reeking of old smoke and cheap disinfectant. hurried meals of fast food and more cigarettes. It feels good to slow down to just breath and listen to music eyes half shut letting the music flow over me washing away the stress and hurry of my oh so hectic life. it's a good night for mazzy star, a little tenderness and melencholy to offset the harshness needed to survive modern life. Tonight I light candels and watch old tv shows amused by the wholesome antics of bygone times and long dead comedians. Tonight I turn off the cell phone and close all the blinds. Sit in a dark room and get zen about life again. So for anyone else who wants to do the same here's a little mazzy from me to you.

I had this playing loud, and Slayer in the background playing lightly, talk about homicidal undertones, I think this reflects my darkest truth, while i wear a calm and soothing exterior, I have all this fuel burning inside, a deep rage if you will -> it's something God is working on in my life ->
It really gave me insight to my inner rage when I told my mom that "I think I have a violent rage problem," and she just simply replied, "I know." and later explained how my teen years were horrible for her and my father, and that since I've been a christian, the outward acts that stem from this inner rage have ceased, she can still tell that it's on the inside -> So, God really has his finger of conviction on me in that area, so I think it in my best interest to answer this call from God to work on myself in this area ->

she's kinda therepy for me. Fools are quick to shed blood but the wise are slow to anger. Mood is a choice and you can make consious decisions as to how your gonna feel. the fastest way to get rid of rage is to forgive whoever wronged you and then forgive yourself for being mad (and any collateral damage) Once a thing is forgiven it's a closed matter and there's no point to being pissed about it any more. So your home work mr durden is to go around forgiving people who pissed you off. remember that by forgiving a person you put them is Gods hands and he's the one who really takes care of justice. So leave vengance to the one who can really fuck up an evil doers life and just go about your buisness.
Yeah, I hear ya preach' -> It's not that I don't forgive, I have rage for no reason, I am always wanting to smash stuff, or someone's face, or burn crap that ain't mine, hate people in general for no good reason ->
But I think your sermon should be repeated to my wife, the queen of dredging up the past, it's like, leave the titanic on the bottom where it belongs, forgive and forget, not say you forgive and relive it 100 times -> but, then I do attract the ones with high IQ's and low self esteem and severe mental problems -> the price of being such a sexy bastard I guess!
I can't wait to be raptured up and all that, but the human rage side of me hopes I can still watch as God punishes the wicked man, ever read revelations? I want to see that stuff come to pass ->

I heard a great tip about getting rid of pesky annoying personality problems. Here's how it works basically: we are born again, right? so we aren't actually the old guy/gal we used to be. So what right does that old personality thing have to be in your life now?
In fact you can think of it this way: that old "you" is dead. So why is it "YOUR" anger problem? It's not yours. It belongs to a dead man.
Here's the tip: never say it's yours again. Say it died with that old dead man. Say it WAS his, but HE'S dead now! It's real simple, but you'll be really amazed how effective something as little and simple as this can turn out, believe me.
Sorry that you're going through a slump, I know how you feel. Keep your chin up!
