rap with somthing meaningful to say?!!

ok that was a little sarcastic. I know pimps and bling means somthing to some one. Just not to me. so I listen to weird diffrent non gang affiliated rap. I don't think that this group pops a cap in this whole album and I can't recall one incident where they called a ho a bitch or vice versa. So is this lame? I dont think so but fuck it let's let you decide

    mollifire says of course it's not lame! hip hop rules! not everyone cares for corporate rap music. certainly not the old school/true school hip hop fans. i'm eager to check this band out. i haven't heard of rehab yet. i'm a big fan of Bay Area rappers like Dopestyle1 and Del tha Funky... both hail from Hieroglyphics. oh and of course, The Coup!

I'll give ya the low down on the albums their first album is called sothern discomfort it would seem to be written as they were going into rehab the second album grafitti the world would be written after rehab. I don't really know for sure but just from listening to the albums that's how it sounds. grafitti the world is much more socially conscious.
