A Post for posts sake (not sure what monday is supposed to be)

Posted over 2 years ago

Morning Moggers! (girlish voices) "good morning charlie!"

Ha! I make me laugh. Anyway I'm just killing a little time here before I climb up on a ladder and install storm windows on my house. Yep it's just as much fun as it sounds. Anyway I was in the mood for muse this morning and decided to share a track with the rest of ya. Muse is a pretty underrated band in america (meaning theyre relatively obscure) so I thought I'd do a small amount of publicity work for them. Of course the Mog Cognoscenti are already well aware of muse I'd think, so this may just be a post for posts sake. But what do i care anyway it's monday and I need more coffee. Hope everyone had a feindishly happy halloween!

Oh yeah. It's always the right day of the week for a little Muse. Good choice sir.

I think (but don't quote me on this) Monday is "Blue Monday" though I'm not sure if that means Blues the genre or more on an emo trip kinda thing.

Both. But the tune was what I was referring to. I call Mondays Blue(s) Monday. That way it works for either.

I looked around and blue monday is a hardcore band these days. The band I was thinking of was blue october. And I'll have to remember that mondays are blue from now on. So out of curiousity what is tuesday?

Tuesday is pretty much captained by Mike The Knife and is deemed Toxic Tuesday. Wednesday is becoming Way-Back Wednesday. Thursday ??? Friday Funky Friday. Saturday is becoming Saturday Night Live. And Sunday is Sunday Under the Covers (SUTC). Those are the ones I know of.

Mostly hideous tunes from the 80's and 90's. He usually has some pretty toxic tunes to remind us of (whether we want to remember or not). Sometimes they are so bad, people won't even push the button to listen. Tune in tomorrow!

There you go. If it's a tune you'd rather never hear again, or wish the band had never done, or a one hit wonder, it's probably a pretty good candidate. Go for it!

I one upped that! check out my toxic tuesday post!  Anyway isn´t it pretty much a rule that everything old will be new again. so it´s pretty much assured that by the fact we remember these songs they will inevidably be in vogue again.
