After spending a good hour, and a good $45, on some much-needed Halloween decorations, I found myself driving home in the pouring rain.On the stereo was a random mix CD that was made for a road trip to Chicago two years ago. I don't think I had listened to it since.All of a sudden, this song came on and before I knew it I was singing along at the top of my lungs with a smile on my face. I can't explain why or what the purpose was or how I even knew all the words. But I do know that it was the most happy I've felt for months. Who knew?The last time I remember this song in my life was about seven years ago, while working in a "Christmas warehouse" (we put together pretty display gifts for retail stores). Someone had it on a random hits CD and we listened to this song late one afternoon. I was in the small, cramped, warehouse kitchen cleaning all of our coffee mugs and all of a sudden I hear a dozen people on the floor singing along.I guess it's just that kind of song.
