I'd like to introduce you all to one of the most awesome albums of all time. Now, who doesn't like Radiohead? Chances are if you don't you wouldn't be on this page, so try this on for size. Who doesn't like reggae? There's a little group called the Easy Star All Stars who decided to combine the two in one of the most well-put together albums I've ever heard. It's called Radiodread. It's a track-by-track reimagining of OK Computer, considered by many to be Radiohead's best albums. The first track I'll post from this album is from dub artist Morgan Heritage. It's his horn laden, rastafarian version of Electioneering. The vocals and harmony blend beautifully with the horns. And we all know the words are exploding with meaning. And if this isn't a weed-tastic track, I don't know what is. Just listen to the percussion/synth solo as it winds to a close. Can't help swingin my imaginary dreads to it. Rock on.tom.
