Then again, I've been around here for a little while now and am otherwise contributing, so I don't think anybody will accuse me of that.So.Help out my friends in Rains get on Lollapalooza!Rains are an example of why I originally signed up for MySpace (although, I think a lot of people hate MySpace for the exact same reason)--just a band who was looking for people in their city with music tastes similar to their influences and sound. I actually at one point considered auditioning for them on bass and dropping out of grad school if I got it, but that would've been silly (and also I think the bass player they picked up then is way better than I would've been). And I really dig their music, enough that I bought several copies of their debut to give out to friends, and wrote a review over on antiMusic to try to help get them some more widespread exposure. Now they've moved back to Indiana and have finished up their second CD and are looking for votes to help get them on Lollapalooza.Rains on MySpace
