Cloud Cult - Pretty Voice_**Cloud Cult's**_ origins go back to the early '90s when **Craig Minowa**, a student studying environmental science, started essentially, a solo project where he made music from sounds collected from non-musical related objects. Cloud Cult was really just a side project for Minowa at the time who would go on to become an environmental activist and eventually own and run a self sustaining organic farm. In 2000 Minowa's wife, a felow activist and local Minnesota painter, started a family and Cloud Cult went on the back burner. Understandably, in 2002, after the sudden death of his young son Minowa turned inward and spent months holed up on his farm writing music. By 2003 he had taken the music, gathered up a band and started recording again. Producing four albums in four years on his own imprint _**Earthology**_. Cloud Cults live shows incorporate videos concerning ecological matters, his wife as artist painting on stage with the musicians, dancers and an array of performance artists. Cloud Cults most recent album, _**The Meaning of 8**_ was released earlier this year.
