NYC and Vicinity MOGgrrrrs

Let's talk about doing this MOG meet thing-a-m'jig. Supposedly, sometime in August, Erin (goodmusiconly) while be crusin' through the New York City area for reasons yet determined and she has expressed interest in getting crocked with a few of us big city folk. I know there has been talk in the past about doing a NYC meet up, I'm not sure whatever happened with that though. I say we hash it out over the next couple of weeks (months even) and make this happen. In case you're wondering, that's not a picture of Erin above. I knew she wouldn't like it if I posted just any old picture of her. So I opted not to post any.

I had the day of your Williamsburg opening all planned out and set aside but unfortunately the day had other plans for me and I couldn't get in. **Indie** Keep an eye out for further NYC MOG Meet installments, looking forward to hanging out. **Ivy and All else** - I honestly have to say the month's of March thru roughly the end of June don't work for me, not to say an event shouldn't be organized, by all means do so. I'll make sure to be there for the "Mog Days of Summer" meet-up

    I am says I have been trying to get something going. Unfortunately my plan with Storycorps looks like a bust. Just thought it would be neat to get people who have never met except through electrons and ASCII code together and document it with audio. A lofty goal, I know. Not being from the city myself I am a bit hamstrung when it comes to finding places for food and drink, also my entertainment choices may not be what others would think as fun. If, I should say when NYC Mog meet occurs, I would like to make a day of it. Maybe peruse someones fave record shop, take in an excellent cup of joe, take a boat ride, climb the Empire State, or even find a place to throw a frisbee and laugh with the folks I know but don't know. NYC has too many choices.

    dachmo says Well Erin says she'll be around visiting family and that the weekend in question would be August 9th and 10th, so that's literally 6 months from today. Plenty of time to make a day out of it for those interested, being that it's NYC music shouldn't be a problem to hunt down in fact we'll most definitely have choices, we will have to wait a little while for the venues to start posting whats coming through. So we can sit tight on that and then of course there's never a shortage of other things to do through out the day. Lets just circle that weekend on the calendar and we'll see things come into focus as we get closer to the day.
