Kim the Waitress
Hello everybody!
I've been away too long and I've really been missing the good old days we all spent here. But as we all know "You can't go back". However.
For my Sunday Under the Covers I would like to deliver this pop gem originally written and performed by Seattles great paisley underground band The Green Pajamas.
I first heard this song from an album I picked out of the dollar bin at Smash on St. Marks some 15 years ago. I later found out that it was made somewhat famous by a little band called Material Issue (video) who always performed it during their live shows.
But the dollar bin band and the album I'm talking about was/is a Seattle area group named Sister Psychic and the album's title, Surrender, You Freak!.

musicland used to have the best dollar bin around town, I would have picked up this album just for the cover art
