Aah. Makes me realize it's been eons since I've heard "Farmer John" by The Premiers - the mid-sixties Chicano garage band from East L.A. Don't know if The Sonics' tune is modeled on The Premiers', or if they are both descendants of a third song. Pretty basic rock, so probably hard to be definitive about the origins.
