  1. goodmusiconly says I used to play this song, hit the rewind button on the tape (which, you know, took like 5 minutes) and play it over and over whilst looking dreamily into Nick Heyward's eyes. Hah. Good choice, D!

  9. goodmusiconly says wow, David, that _*was*_ some spicy dancing ... no wonder you wanted to marry her. Good thing you didn't though - can you imagine the dread upon opening your closet doors every day? Hoards of voluminous tulip parachute dresses and white pumps ... the horror!

  13. Cody B says It seems like so many of these bands were talented, and so few of them lasted. Lemme see who i can blame....MTV

  14. dachmo says **Ivy** were you talking about Huey or were you talking about Haircut 100? **Cody B** What's the pecentage for bands that last, I can't imagine there is one. Outside of Modest Mouse I dont' think there are any bands from the '90s that are still around. I liked the Chili Peppers in the '80s and they're still around but I don't find their newer work of interest at all. the Rolling Stones lasted but they haven't put out meaningful album since Tattoo You I think with music it's better to burn out then fade away.

  18. ivylander says I meant Haircut 100. Even if I had ever seen Huey Lewis & the News live (which I haven't), I would never admit it. Sorry, but when I heard "Hip To Be Square," my first reaction was, "No, you guys, in your case it's actually square to be square."
