File Under: Random '90s

After Bob Mould left Husker Du he would go on to record two solo albums, both highly acclaimed and well received, the first more so than the second, but still, they proved he was on top of his game. In 1992 he decided he wanted to be in a band again. He grabbed up David Barbe from _Mercyland_ and Malcolm Travis from _Human Sexual Response_, both influential east coast punk bands, and formed **Sugar**. Later in 1992 they would release _**"Copper Blue"**_. A rockin' pop album from start to finish. They would go on to release a second great album in '94 and then in '95 Bob folded the band. He took the material he was writing for Sugar's third album and worked it into his next solo album.

  2. Neill says What a storming album Copper Blue is. One of those few albums where every track is at least four stars....

  3. I am says I agree with Neill and angst. But then again Mould has always given us more than we paid for.
