This might be too Honeysuckle Sweet for most of you but I remember my aunt used to play these albums when I was much, much younger. She went on to become a pediatric nurse which somehow seems fitting with this style of music.
This is the best song I could come up with, I believe Paul Weller is singing about his wife but the sentiment (as well as the lyrics) doesn't seem to get too creepy if you replace her with your mom.

The show made me crazy too until halfway through this season where it just became so apparent to me that they were screwing with us...so now I just watch to go along for the ride.

I like this one! Its a fun jingle jangle groovy 60s bubblegum gem.
I just "picked up" a couple of their albums and I've yet to decide if I like it more for the memories of when I was really young or if I'm actually digging their groovieness. More listens will follow.
This groove of this cover is lot mellower than the original -- still, it's a swell song for mummies and aunties ;)
