Indie indie indie

I just pitched a music-related project to a gf who said to hold that thought and come back to her in a month's time. I'm agitated because I want to break free from this mould that I've become so displaced of. Like, I don't belong there anymore. And this project(s) feels like the only reason why I don't feel so useless (read: sense of belonging).

On a shinier note, a lovely blogger pointed out to me a new artiste because she thought that since I love Jeff Buckley so much, I would enjoy his music too: Australian singer-songwriter Matt Corby.

While, I feel, he is no where close to Jeff and his amazing falsetto, Matt has his own distinct style and melody and that's what makes him really unique. I hope to hear more of him soon. Reading his profile reveals a little more about him and that he might be working closely with James Blunt's producer. I say, good move. Meanwhile, I've been looping those two songs on his myspace.
