Rant: She screwed me over and there goes my chance with Mogwai

The headline says it all. I was suppose to have this chance to interview the lads when they played their first show here in Kuala Lumpur but somehow, some girl with a title, 'junior editor' screwed me over. In other words, she carelessly forgot to set it up for me. Gee, thanks.

So, I sat there in front of my computer with a list of questions that couldn't be put to use. And I fumed. I decided the best resort was to send her an evil message. Which I did over Facebook (I didn't even know who she is and she added me on it) and I subsequently regretted that move because I bypassed the protocol. Long story short, I should have dealt with the managing editor instead of her since the intructions came from the former. So, although it was the latter's fault, I shouldn't act unprofessionally, which I did. So, I did what I was supposed to do, which was I apologised. I told her I was sorry she made a mistake. There you go, I told her sarcastically and she thought I was being sincere. No, sirree.

I did enjoy myself at the concert though. I walked around 'deaf by Mogwai' for a day. Although I enjoyed Explosions In The Sky for their shoegazing, emo-esque tunes, Mogwai beats them at being louder and angrier.
