Okay, so my friend JUST introduced me to Transplants not too long ago. I totally didn't know how good they were. I even knew their songs so I was kind of pissed when I k/o knew about them all along. Anyway, if you're totally retarded like me and haven't heard of them, they're the ones who sing (ya, ya, garnier fruictis*) the opening songs for bulletproof monk (kick ass movie)- if that helps you at all. Oh, and I'm also pissed they already broke up before I'd even heard of them.

Their opening tracks on their first album are pretty killer, but then the posturing, lyrics, and yelling kinda wear thin. (And what about that kid that sounds like the puny younger brother of Zach de la Rocha? Geez!) They really work well in a mix or limited doses. Definitely better, though, than a lot of similar acts.
