What is it about the British Isles and "supergroups"? There's an amazing new group out of Ireland called The Cake Sale that boasts a line-up to nearly end all lineups, including:
Damien Rice Gary Lightbody (Snow Patrol) Nina Persson (The Cardigans) Connor Deasy (The Thrills) Glen Hansard (The Frames) Josh Ritter Lisa Hannigan and more! (that felt a lot like an infomerical)
Not only do they host a ridiculous amont of musical talent, but they're also donating all proceeds to Oxfam Ireland. Oh, how my heart goes apitter-patter. Enjoy!
I cant even explain how good this set/show was, so instead I'll just show you.

I did see this over the weekend, missed being there, was quite impressed with the set by Gomez.
Thanks for posting. Can't wait to see them in November, it's been years since the last time I caught Gomez live.
Any other Moggers headed to ACL Festival this year? If so, you'll probably find me in some level of inebriation at one of the following sets:
