Richard & Linda Thompson
Today a fellow mogger had a great post, you might know him walkingthecow. He always post some good stuff, well, maybe the WORST covers doesn't fall into that category? Hhehehe, but he posted a Red House Painters song "Songs For A Blue Guitar" : http://mog.com/walkingthecow/blog_post/125717It so reminded me of a collaboration years ago between Richard & Linda Thompson when they recorded "Shoot Out the Lights" a gem, and a classic. It inspired me to post a song from it here. The one I picked out reminds me the most of the Red House Painters. It's "Walking On a Wire" and puts Richard & Linda's vocals together along with a gnarly guitar by Richard that bites, but soothes. Hope you like it.
