This song is the abomination of the MC5 Kick Out The Jams
After seeing CodyB comment that some of his pics were missing I thought I'd take a look. Sure enough a lot of pics are missing in the older posts of the main players: CodyB, Troypowers,Bartelby,bloodtea.
I am wondering what is going on. not all of them are gone so it isn't a blank censorship of showing too much booty but inqiuring minds would like to know. I have seen videos go of late because of some ownership issues at you tube of some vids. I know that flicker images now have a limted time and they are also going.

are you referring to pics uploaded to MOG? if so, i doubt there's censorship going on, but it could be a technical issue of some sort. or are you referring to pics from somewhere else like flickr?
pictures that were attached to posts before the last change so they were uploaded the old way. It just seems weird and who knows the source of the pics that got deleted
It could be as simple as a dead HTML link, or just a ranaming of a images directory on the server. If you go through Google images to find a pic, chances are it wont stay at the address your linking to. Websites disappear, people delete pages, etc. It's just not a sure bet stuffs gonna stay where it is with an image tag.
the simple answer is usually the the right one.Its rather sad to me to see so few posts and moggers around even with the holiday just past.It feels differant...I miss the excitement of the times before.

as for moggers, they always come back. it's hard to stay away from friends.
you kick a good jam with the point about Flickr, they "gave" me a free account through AT & T, now they are severing ties and want paid to continue the premium service level. I had no idea I was getting something for nothing, and used the account to upload lotsa pics. now, unless I pay up, something like the last 50 pics are the only ones I can link to. haven't decided if I want to keep it, and gotta wonder how many wound up in the same boat.

scotfree - i have a free flickr account and it's not so bad. anyone can see yr most recent 200 pics and i think if you link to pics/embed them before they get past the 200th slot, they continue to show up wherever you embedded them. personally, i'm not interested in pics older than the 200th one, so it doesn't bother me.
But here at MOG, i don't think they ever delete pics or change access to them. i think this situation is probably just some kind of error that tech support can fix.
i've seen MOG go through many changes in the last 2 years and it's been better every time. more music, more features, more ways to keep track of the posts and moggers i love. if only there were more hours in the day to see and hear it all!
