After reading Anna's post about the Detroit Cobras, I had to post my favorite bar band :The Mutants.There are many groups named Mutants but this one is from Detroit. They played around Detroit and released a couple of 45's in the late 1970s.This one is from 1978. They had a sense of humor that no record company ever got.The single "So American" was on playlists for awhile at local radio stations. Their own record company:FTM which stands for "Fuck The Mutants" released this thru Sure Shot Productions. The "b" side was Piece of Shit."They were one of my favorite live bands at the time.
