      Ryan Shupe's music is just so damn happy and I love it. I know it's cool to be a brooding downer all of the time but maybe I'm just not ready to be cool. I love Ryan's blend of pop and bluegrass and the lilting, uplifting without being "Up with People" feel. I guess it's like Steve Martin said, "You just can't play a sad song on a banjo."
