MUSIC SIGNPOSTS ON THE WEB'S LONELY ROAD

Fistula Spume beat me to the punch both purchasing and posting this little gem by the Marseille Figs It's rowdy, bawdy, good time music. Kind of like something you'd expect to hear in World War II movie, in a scene where the French resistance are meeting in a cabaret/night club.
Or perhaps it's a Waitsian Hobotopia, in which a three piece band is playing for their cronies by a campfire by the railroad tracks on instruments made out of tin cans, washboards and kazoo's.
There is just not enough irreverence and fun like this in music today. It's a kind of grass roots rethinking of pop music. Lots of Plunk, Clunk, Twee, and Spunk.

Love me some Adam Koford too. I have to say this album is the cat's pajamas. Hey congrats Mogger O' The Week! Great way to start it off. Love this album. Bawdy indeed!

Thank you. I hope my reign can be one of benevolence and peace.

Yes, Mr. Koford is one of my favorite netizens. All my props to him and his endless creativity. I hope to follow in his footsteps one of these days getting my own comics online.

Definitely a band to keep an eye on.

Adam rules. Hey he's in Florida too. Is he your neighbor?

He's in Kissame/Orlando. About 3-4 hours north of me. I'd love to meet him though. According to his blog, he's moving to Utah to work for a software company.

I don't know what's worse - waking up in a Box Car - or waking up in Hackensack...

Probably Hackensack. But damn, it's definitely a good word to rhyme something too.
