The MC5 is one of my favorite bands to never get the respect they deserved when they were together. I have some bootlegs of them live, and most bands could not hold a candle to the energy, intensity, and volume that this band possessed. Plus, they covered Sun Ra - how fucking cool is that? I have never heard the Sun Ra version, but I am pretty sure that the 5 took some liberties with it. Post it if you got it.
