A Very Belated 2nd Mogoversary...

One of the issues I have with being self employed now is the overwhelming lack of time for things like Mog. Oh I lurk and comment, but I'm still itching to do one of those lenghty posts no one really reads but I feel so proud of myself for.
So goes my 2nd birthday coming and going with nary a sound. 2 years is like 15 in internet years, and 15 is probably middle age out in Web 3.0.
But it's my party, and I've got control of the little turquoise button so let me inflict the criminally under rated The Only Ones on you, as I've only discovered them in the past couple o months.
So while the kids nap, I'm gonna groove to this and take special delight in the lyric "I found love in Atlanta, Georgia" even if the rest of the song has nothing to do with how my wife or I met, you gotta take what you can get sometimes when a song ressonates with you.

To me they feel like a bunch of Richard Hell/Television songs I never heard. I don't know how I managed to miss them in all my readings of 70's punk!

I was a big fan of Spooky Tooth and when I saw Mike Kellie was the drummer for the Only Ones it got me intrested but clearly the guitarist is the star.
