WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Bringing Eyesite to the Blind (folded) - The Hello Experiment

Posted over 2 years ago
One of the videos that sticks out in my mind of those early MTV days was the one for ??Hello?? by Lionel Richie. It was cinematic, it told a story, it didn't really look like a video, and ??dialog?? cut into the music. Yeah, you couldn't get away from his music, as much as you tried.
The Story goes like this:
Drama professor Richie is in love with one his students, a stand out in the aparent arts school he is teaching in. There's one problem - she's blind! She wont let that stop her from getting a proper Liberal Arts education though. She acts, she dances - she sculpts. We can see that it weighs on Prof. Richie greatly, how could he love a women who can't see his face? A woman who couldn't appreciate his rugged good looks? Well, eyes aren't the only way to see into the soul, professor Richie. She has sculpted a very muscular, but not to identical likeness too you, using only her fingers to see. Does this not prove your prodigy's love for you Dr. Richie? Doesn't it?
Anyway, some art students did The Hello Experiment in which they blind folded themselves and tried to capture Mr. Richies likeness. The results are humorous - one looks like Sammy Davis Jr. and another like a Simpson character.
