Chuck Brown Sampler

Cody B shined a light on Chuck Brown, the Godfather of Go-Go, for his Funky Friday offering. I left some long winded comments there, but couldn't get any music or images into my comments, because I am definitely not tech-savvy. So, I'm gonna do my thing here.Here's some older school Chuck, with a heavy jazz influence:

    mullytron says He DEFINITELY raised my ass. The man is a hero in Washington DC, and rightly so. When it comes to Godfathers, you got your Godfather of Soul, and then you got your Godfather of Go Go, they go together like peas and carrots.
