I've been digging on Breakestra hard of late and then last week a co-worker tells me there is a hot funk band called Orgone playing on Friday night. So, I do some sniffing around on the web and while checking out a few tracks at their myspace page, I learn that the band is comprised of several Breakestra vets. That was enough for me.They did not disappoint. Nice set, very funky with a super talented singer. I like their cover of "Do Your Thing" too (but maybe not as much as the Kashmere Stage Band's version). If you get a chance, check 'em.
