Created by the press? Come on.... created by Ivo Watts. And that's a good thing. The first Lush and Pale Saints records still define that 4AD sound for me. Everything after was derivative, and almost intentionally not 4ad-sounding.

This is an awesome confessional interview with a really young band -- these guys have no confidence. Subtext, we're no good live, we're working on our sound, Pale Saints are better.

(By the way - I was one of those unabashed 4ad "super fans.")
