Artist: Album: Writer's Block Track: "Amsterdam"

Yeah, I'm starting a podcast with a dear friend of mine... if you're interested in listening to it once it's uploaded, please let me know.

So, I had an interesting week. I went up to north-western Arkansas, got attacked by a horrible abomination referred to as a "turkin" (half turkey, half chicken), and watched as my newfound friends Noah and Josh caught a huge snake and proceeded to run it over with a car (which I didn't partake in, mind you). It was quite different... though, I learned that I'm truly a city-slicker; I missed civilization terribly.

Thank God for summer.

Artist: Album: Track: "My Lover's Box"

So, how is everyone? I've been doing quite well, surprisingly enough. Though I'm under immense stress due to overdue schoolwork and a tiresome job at a supermarket, I've somehow managed to maintain a positive-ish outlook of the world around me.

Does anybody know of any shows worth attending that will be coming through Oklahoma or Texas in the near future? If yes, then please tell me.

Well, let's see ... there's the Hold Steady on June 10, and The Stills on June 19, both in OKC.
