on the jazz tipi am looking to start listen to some jazz since it is a genre i have yet to explore. the only problem I have is i do not know were to start. the only two jazz musicians i have given some time to listening to are charles mingus and sun-ra.i would like to explore the subgenres of jazz too.so if anyone out there can suggest some jazz that will please my ears, i seriously appreciate it

digitizing vinyl
has any one tried to record vinyl onto their computers. i want to try it but i don't know exactly what to buy to pull it off. i have a technic 1200 turntable but i need a new needle and some sort of interface that will the turntable's phono output to line.so if any one has any suggestions please let me know. thank you in advance
